You guys may not remember me, but I was managing Funochios when you were playing there. I recently heard from Dan Francis (percussion) from Mudcat that Donnie McCormick had passed. I happened to find your website, and wanted to pass on my condolances. I am back in Atlanta, but unfortunately never got to see you guys at the Northside Tavern. Best in the future. Feel free to contact me.

Hello ho ho, Its that time Again and we've done some remodeling and lowered some prices on our ORDER STUFF page. And also this year we have added a few gife sets at rock bottom prices for you to buy your friends and loved ones for....you Know,...... THAT DAY! So just because "YOU" have all of EQTs CDs, DVDs and Stuff Doesn't Mean your BUDs have any, This year give the Gift that keeps on Giving (YUK! I cant Believe I said That). Anyway, I Just thought I'd Drop Ya'll a Line and and say hey....HEY! And Thank all of you guys and gals for Checking out the EQT Website and for purchasing stuff, Its what Keeps the website Going and Keeps Michelle And I off The streets and out of the Honky Tonks at Night. Not that Honky Tonks are a bad thing, Its just that they were my Home for so many years with EQT, Besides, NowDays, one Drink in a club cost as much as a 12 pack in The G store, Think About IT. So when you get a chance check out.... ericquincytate.com and help keep the music of Eric Quincy Tate Alive And Well. Remember Coming in the Spring of 2010 Eric Quincy Tate's Last CD "REAL TO REEL"will be available with Songs from Club Gigs, Concerts and Studio Outtakes that have never been on CD before, FINALLY! an EQT CD without Brown Sugar on IT. We love you guys and keep Donnie Mac And BEAR in your Thoughts this Holiday Season and forever. Thank You Very Much David Cantonwine www.ericquincytate.com

HI!! Partied with you guys at the Whipping Post in Augusta,Ga.MANY YEARS AGO!! What ever happened to the big poster board that was supposed to be the cover of your album*** "EQT" Can't Keep a Good Band Down..Limited Collector's Edition..Circa 1977***EVERYONE that was there that weekend signed it and we were supposed to get a copy of the album with ALL the signatures as the cover.. I have my copy of the album, but it is completly blank (white) except for "EQT Limited Collector's Edition" stamped on the front...I was very disappointed then and couldn't make contact. But now thanks to the miricle of the computer I hope I can find out!!! Just wondering what happened to the poster board!!!! I would like to have a copy if it still exsists!!!! I would like to say "HELLO" to Steve and Brooks and Ray if they are out there in cyberland!!! Thanks!!! EQT for all the GREAT MEMORIES and the AWESOME MUSIC!!! Sorry to hear about the losses to the band, but you know everyone takes a turn, and there is always something better on the other side!!! Hope to hear from you soon!!! CAT

Thanksgiving 1975, The BISTRO in Atl. The bistro was serving Free thanksgiving dinner withe all the trimmings, punkin pie etc, EQT was playing on the stage, and there were maybe 25 people in all there INCLUDING the BAND. road crew, watresses, cooks, and bartenders, And they played their BEST, like there were a thousands in the audiance, real pros. It was like sitting in the living room and having a personal concert. some of the best musicians ever.
