Wow, Found a copy of DMF at a flea market. Saw them in early 70's at Bar I worked in Louavul, KY Been telling people about them off and on since. What a great evening listening the fantastic blues ahead. I'll read the posts and may follow up. Any chance there is a shirt of DMF sold anywhere? Take care, Mike

David Sorry been out of touch but have been deathly sick for the last four years. Two helicopter life flight s to Toledo 100 plus miles from home. Spent a year in nursing homes and six months in hospitals. Have dialysis 3 times a week. I had all of my EAR tapes on dining room table but cannot recall if shipped to you. My stuff was moved out of a 4 bedroom house into a 2 bedroom apartment while I was in the nursing home I have a disorganized mess But with internet can listen to a lot of music. Discovered a guy from Fame session players named Eddie Hinton worth checking out. Needed meds for chemical imbalance before available. When he was or had a girlfriend his songs are uplifting but when blur they are bluer. His 1 st l.p. was cut at muscle shoals but releases in 1977 on Capricorn. BANKRUPT! Rex

Thank you! I have been looking for a CD of Drinking Man's Friend for about 15 years and found this website just a few days ago. Today I received the copy I ordered from here (fast shipping, too!). Hot damn, now I can listen to DMF any time without worrying about wearing out my vinyl (wore out the first copy I bought in the 70s and had to buy another on ebay!). Excellent transfer to CD AND album art, too - thank you very, very much !!!!!

Too many messages to post. Sad that they never made it in the big time. I remember when they played at the Apple on 10th and P-tree. It had a different name then, but, can only remember when it was the Apple. Remember when Bear played for DAC. Good friends of the Outlaws MC in Atlanta. They are sorely missed. Good brothers.

I just recently got a turntable and dug out my vinyl EQT album. I had not forgotten how good the band was, as I had not heard anything about them in years. I heard the guys at The Whipping Post in the late 70's. I listen to the record just about everyday. When I'm feeling down the songs seem to lift me up Thanks EQT for such good ,fun rock and roll.

Holidays have a real deep meaning for me as I spent so many of them with Donnie and his family. That old sofa had an imprint of my body I'm sure. For my brother's who are still here and those who have gone on. happy New Year.
